The Supreme Court, with judgment no. 18569/2016 stated about the issue concerning the custom of some civil registries to affix separately, at the bottom of the judgments, the deposit date and the publication date of the judgements: however, being the date of publication the immediate effect of the the deposit date, the date should be unique.


Thus, the Court established that the two dates must coincide and , to verify the timeliness of the appeal, the Court must always consider the date on which the judgment has become accessible through the official filing with the registry , with attribution of its identification number.
