The president of INPS, during the conference held on  February 9th, stated that "€ 512 per month are not sufficient to cover families needs":there is a need, therefore, to balance transfers relying on the earning capacity of the families, giving priority to those less well off, bringing families with higher incomes to grant assistance.

The President Tito Boeri also stated how it would be necessary the provision of a contribution for both employees and retired workers, taking example from Germany, where there’s the direct inclusion in collective negotiations of mandatory contribution.
